JIM FISHER

Jim Fisher writes the Kansas City Star's "Midlands" column, a series of profiles of small-town life in Kansas and Missouri. He has worked at the Star since 1960, covering everything from riots and space flights to agriculture and aeronautics. Jim is married, has two children and lives on a horse farm in Kansas, Johnson County.
