Malaria- caused by the bite of certain mosquitos called Anopheles. Like all mosquitos, Anopheles mosquitos breed in pools of still water. Symptoms of malaria include fever, chills, headache, and muscle ache.

Cholera- an illness caused by a bacteria infection of the stomach and intestine. Symptoms are watery diarrhea, vomiting, and leg cramps, dehydration and shock. The disease spreads most rapidly in areas with inadequate treatment of sewage and drinking water.

Cyclone- similar to tornados, but often contain water. Cyclones are basically large storms with low pressure at their centers and circular wind motion.
