special friend

i had a mother
i had a friend.
i never thought
that it would end.
but it did,
all too soon,
and you left me here,
by your groom.
i cried at night
you left me so sore,
i know you didn't
but i felt ignored.
but life keeps going,
it has no end,
and i'll always think of you
as my special friend.
