One More Addiction

Now this thang called poetry is
exceptionally complex
Don't touch it if you don't know what you're
doing you just might OD
Man, This thang called poetry is phat
It's so phat if you dropped it on a
rainbow you'd make skittles
Now taste that
Man, this thang called poetry is strong
So strong you could rule the world with it
It makes more sense than war
It's more powerful than the presidency
And guess what
Poetry ain't illegal
Yet
But, you can't shut down one's mind
Because it's vastly open to the super
highway of imagination
But it's degradation we have all those PI's
out there
The poetically impaired
But, they just can't comprehend
That's why we use this poetic justice
To cover ourselves with mechanical words
That can be misspelled inhaled and
swallowed down like a jagged little pill
Poetry is something that can't be held down
by the laws of gravity
Poetry is something that can't be shut up
Cause poetry is all that
And definitely is phat
So choke on that while I warm up
Cause I'm just getting started
