Kosovo Crisis Continues

Despite international peacekeeping efforts, tensions continue to flare in Yugoslavia. Fourteen Serb farmers were killed in Kosovo. NATO officials made arrests, but they've been unable to calm the fears of the Serbs, who believe NATO has a bias towards the ethnic Albanians.

Since the end of the 78-day air war, thousands of Serbs have fled regions of Kosovo. In Serbia, critics of President Slobodan Milosevic are holding rallys and military officers are demanding to be paid for their time in Kosovo.

In Kosovo, nearly one million ethnic Albanians refugees have returned to their homes. The World Bank has raised over $2 billion to rebuild the schools and houses that were burnt during the conflict.
