Northern Ireland Picture Gallery
There are a large number of historical sites ranging from Navan Fort which was a center of government 2000 years ago (and was marked on Ancient Greek maps!) to the city of Derry (Londonderry) which has some of the best preserved medieval city walls in Europe. The city of Armagh was a key center of Christian religion and learning in eighth-century Europe. Old castles, such as Dunluce and Carrickfergus, still stand.

Northern Ireland also has some great scenery: from the Mountains of Mourne in the south to the Giant's Causeway in the north (amazing hexagonal volcanic rocks which legend says a giant built so he could walk across the sea to Scotland!).
