NewsHour Extra covers the conference with Global Kids and Manhattan Neighborhood Network
|
What should I write about? Well, let's talk about Danny Glover. I met him today and I shook his hand, Wow! (He acted in Beloved, Bopha, Lethal Weapon, etc.) Yay! Today was the opening ceremonies for the NGO Forum Against Racism, which will last all week. I saw the president of South Africa speak: Thabo Mbeki. A large group of Zulu dancers introduced him. (I found that for a president he was poorly guarded). Anyway, at 8 p.m. we were seated at a meeting to create a Global Youth Network. But we didn't get to do that because there was so much opposition. Too bad. But tomorrow there will be a youth meeting to redirect what was suppose to happen tonight. So much chaos, I was sick of it, and I wasn't alone feeling that way. Also, Michele is teaching me how to swing my hips. It sucks that I don't know how to dance yet, but I am practicing hard. I am having mood swings today so I
won't write much. |
