Searching for News

When you want to find out what's going on in the world, where do you go?

Television and newspaper journalists are trying to figure out how attract people under 35 years old.

Some organizations are turning to shorter stories with flashy graphics and pictures to interest a younger audience.

NewsHour Extra wants to know what you'd like to see on the news. What would make you tune into a television news broadcast every day? What could a newspaper do to make you a daily reader?

Tell us if you pay attention to the news, and if not, why not. Are the topics boring? Do shows like CNN's "Headline News" give you enough news, the right kind of news or do you want something else?

In the form below, tell us your opinion or ask a question about what journalists are doing to get you to tune in. To read comments left by others, click here.
