Video Your Vote: Students Reflect on the Election and Voting

Video Your Vote is a joint project between the NewsHour and YouTube to document the experiences of voters across the country and collect voter opinions on the 2008 election.
 
 
 

First-time voters from Littleton High School in Littleton, Colorado, talk about their choice and what it feels like to be able to vote.






Joshua, from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida, talks about missing the age limit for the 2008 election by one day.






Jasmyne, from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida, talks about why she is not voting in this election, even though she is 18.




Calvin, from Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School in Maryland, sets the voting scene on the streets of Washington, D.C.
