While classroom discussions of personal religious belief might be limited, the excitement and news coverage of the papal visit is a chance to learn more about issues facing American Catholics, and also explore the wider role of religion and ethics in society. The first 4 minutes of this papal visit video report includes background information and the next 14 minutes is a debate between four experts on U.S. Catholicism and American views of the pope.
