Thank you for helping to raise the awareness of the American population about the gift of life.

I received a donated liver in March, 1996.

In this second life, I hope soon to be working as a community relations coordinator for LifeCenter Northwest, our regional organ procurement agency.

I also appreciate your sharing of the losses that you have suffered and how you found some meaning through donation of your loved ones' organs. I know how difficult this can be, having lost my daughter in 1985 to a brain stem tumor.

I salute your courage and commitment.
