Artist Victoria Vesna and nanoscientist James Gimzewski have created an exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art that teaches about the practice and uses of nanoscience -- the science of manipulating material at the molecular and atomic level. The interactive exhibit, which the creators describe as a "participatory aesthetic experience," allows visitors to participate in art-making activities that show what it is like to manipulate single atoms.
