Inside a Water Reuse Plant FLASH VERSION

Microfiltration Pipes, Microfiltration is the first step in the GWS treatment process. Pumps suck the water through a filter with holes 1/300 the size of a human hair, taking out bacteria, protozoa and suspended solids. These stainless steel pipes carry water to and from the filters, and the blue pumps provide the suction needed to force the water through the filters.
