Editor’s note: On last night’s NewsHour, Paul spoke with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on the sidelines of the G-20 meeting in Pittsburgh. Lula weighed in not only on the legitimacy of meetings like the G-20 and where Brazil fits in the global economy, but also on the situation in Honduras, global warming, and what he meant when he said recently that the economic crisis was the fault of ‘blue-eyed’ bankers.

Here are the excerpts aired on the NewsHour on Thursday.
