For the first five months, pregnancy "was a ball -- smooth sailing," Minnie said.
Then she noticed something odd growing in her vagina, followed by bleeding, and eventually, a rushed trip to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University. The diagnosis was grim: stage-4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
An MRI scan showed tumors in Minnie's vagina, breast and ovaries. She was stunned.
