"I am very disappointed and wondering why I voted. The elections were not transparent compared to the 2006 elections. The procedure was bad enough to discourage people to vote. There was perturbation of polling stations. I know many people who did not vote."
The Democratic Republic of Congo held general elections on Nov. 28, 2011, with tensions and spurts of violence
leading up to the vote. Almost two weeks later, official results showed President Joseph Kabila won re-election.
