'Unabomber Exhibit A'
Richard Barnes became fascinated with the notorious cabin inhabited by Ted Kaczynski, better known as the Unabomber. Here in this modest shack, Kaczynski constructed the explosives that would claim the lives of three people and seriously injure 23 more.
"Barnes photographs the cabin forensically, as it might appear in a police record," says Irvine. "He highlights the disconnect between the cabin's banal appearance and its infamous status."
