Police Captains Firing Guns

"Chief of Detectives Colonel John J. Garrity and Police Captain James Mooney firing hand guns" Chicago, 1920.

"Crime Unseen" also includes a selection of photos from the archives of the now-defunct Chicago Daily News. "Chicago does have a notorious reputation," says exhibition curator Karen Irvine, but it was not the impetus for the exhibition, just "one of those happy coincidences."
