The Bridge Today

In 2007, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art commissioned Italian photographer Gabriele Basilico to photograph the city. The bridge is seen in the fog to the left in this picture. This weekend, San Franciscans are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the bridge's opening, and the bridge is still a definitive symbol of the city. About 115,000 cars cross the bridge daily in both directions.
