Worker Radiation Risks

Prior to the disaster, nuclear plant workers were legally limited to 100 millisieverts of radiation exposure over five years. The Ministry of Health had to raise that to 250 a year in an emergency to deal with the crisis. At least 21 workers have been exposed to 100 millisieverts in the past two months.
