ANJALI FORBER-PRATT

Born in India, Anjali Forber-Pratt was adopted as an infant. Shortly after her arrival in the U.S. she contracted transverse myelitis, an inflammation in the spinal cord that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She's now a two-time Paralympic bronze medalist, a gold medalist at the 2011 World Championships, and the third-fastest T53 wheelchair racing woman in the world.
