Birds Flock to STS-27

A flock of birds take flight shortly after space shuttle Atlantis arrives at the launch pad. The shuttle launched in December 1988 on mission STS-27, a Department of Defense dedicated mission. It was the second shuttle flight after the Challenger disaster and the 27th shuttle mission overall.
