Iran brothers Icy and Sot moved to the US and settled in Brooklyn in 2011 and have been deeply influenced in their work by both Banksy and the stencil artist who preceded him by 20 years, Parisian Blek Le Rat. Stylistically direct descendents of these heros, the brothers meditate on the isolation of the singular figure in contemporary urban society and their unassuming but poignant stencils pop up on walls around the city today.
