Staff Sgt. Lucas Volkomener proudly holds up his painting for the group to see. Volkomener has become a very enthusiastic participant in the course, turning to painting landscapes. Nguyen is amazed by how the soldiers open up after only a few weeks in the course. "I can see a difference in their lives," she says.
