SCHOOLS PARTICIPATING IN THIS ISSUE:

Farmersville Jr/Sr High School, Farmersville CA

Contributors to the page range from students in their second year of art in high school to students taking their first formal art training ever. Farmersville's student population is about 86% Hispanic, 14% Anglo.  Many kids are recent immigrants.  Farmersville lives up to its name by being a small (population 4500) agricultural community in California's Central Valley.

Sidney Lanier High School. San Antonio, Texas

Sidney Lanier HS has a school-within-a school magnet program with a focus of international banking and business in the San Antonio Independent School District. Located on the campus is a Student Financial Service Center which is used in partnership with the Broadway National Bank as a classroom and demonstration site.  Currently, Sophomores are researching how they will actually invest $100 from an endowment fund.
