Shooter sought in Washington Navy Yard
Police Officer Anthony Clay confirmed that there was a shooting at the Washington Navy Yards early Monday morning.
One person was confirmed injured in the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters but as many four people have been reported shot. Authorities are still seeking the shooter and have set up a "shelter" for the some 3000 personnel of the building.
The Navy posted a press release saying that the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is responsible for building, buying, and maintaining the Navy's ships, and submarines. It is the largest of the Navy's system commands and has an annual budget of $30 billion.
