The Health Reform Law’s Wild Ride: A Timeline

Health reform was controversial long before President Barack Obama signed the landmark bill into law two years ago, and little has changed since. But all the back-and-forth hasn’t deterred the administration from issuing hundreds of pages of regulations which have already begun affecting consumers, hospitals, doctors, insurance companies and state governments.

As the Supreme Court prepares to hear arguments over whether the entire law — or just pieces of it — should be dismantled, it’s worth a review of what’s been constructed thus far.

It all started in March 2010.
