Book your spots: Public White House tours are resuming

Missed your chance to tour the White House before tours were suspended seven months ago? Fear not; the doors have been opened to the public once more.

Self-guided, public tours of the White House’s East Wing and Executive Residence resumed Tuesday after their suspension back in March due to sequestration-related government spending cuts. The tours now run three days a week and can be requested by visitors through their member of Congress.

Don’t wait too long, though. Temporary funding only guarantees the tours through January 15.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated to reflect which tours were resumed.
