Gizmodo’s Tale of New iPhone; Is New Droid Really ‘Incredible’?

Stop us if you’ve heard this one. So an Apple employee walks into a bar … and walks out leaving behind what is believed to be the next generation iPhone.

Long story short, tech blog Gizmodo paid for the first peek at the device and cracked it open for a look at the hardware. Apple asked for it back.

Gizmodo reporter Matt Buchanan stopped by The Rundown to discuss the saga that has captured so much attention — and generated so much debate — in the tech and gadget world this week.

Buchanan also pointed out that — curiously — nobody asked Apple executives about the leak and what impact it might have on current sales when the company’s quarterly earnings reports were released on Tuesday.
