Gulf Coast Oil Leak: What Are Your Suggestions?

BY Hari Sreenivasan  May 25, 2010 at 9:24 PM EDT

As the Gulf Coast oil leak continues, we want to hear your thoughts on the best way to stop the spill and also how to clean up the oil that has been gushing into the Gulf of Mexico.

Visit our Google Moderator series to leave us a text or video response* by 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 27. If you make a video, please keep it shorter than 60 seconds. You can also vote on which ideas you think are the best. Don’t forget to tell us your name and where you live. Some of the best questions could appear on our air or on our website.

Also, thanks to help from our friends at NPR, we have updated our second oil leak estimation widget, which has been embedded on numerous sites, to make the live video functional in more browsers, including Google Chrome.

We have switched the video from a Windows Media Player feed (still available here to Flash video.

As always, you can stay up to date on the latest developments in the oil leak and cleanup with our compilation of our coverage here.
