Nebraskans brace for floodwaters from Colorado downpours

Nebraskans have been stacking sandbags and preparing for the Platte River to flood as water from the torrential Colorado downpours swells rivers downstream. NET News reports that people along the banks of the South Platte have been preparing for floods, stacking sandbags under railroad tracks and in front of buildings. And on Thursday morning, the floodwaters arrived. Nebraska State Patrol took this video of the swollen river near Ogallala, Neb.:
