Slide Show: Occupy Wall Street Protests Expand

The Occupy Wall Street protests gained more attention this weekend when 700 protesters were arrested while marching on the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday and protests spread to several other cities.

The protests officially began Sept. 17, though lackluster attendance and unclear demands prompted some critics to brand the attempt a failure. But after organizers released a declaration of their goals, a high-profile incident where a police officer pepper-sprayed several women and the expansion of the Occupy movement to several other cities, the protests show no signs of abating.
