TAX CUT FIGHT | The fight over extending the Bush-era tax cuts hit the House floor Thursday. Judy Woodruff recaps the day’s action.

DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL | The debate over the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy also continued Thursday on Capitol Hill, with Defense Secretary Robert Gates and others testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Jim Lehrer will speak with lawmakers involved in the hearings.
