Poll shows Americans would rather dine with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine than the Obamas this Thanksgiving
When it comes to what holiday meal is the best of the year, there’s no contest! 65 percent of Americans agree that Thanksgiving celebrations have the best food, according to a recent poll.
While respondents have strong traditional ideas about the foods and activities associated with the holiday, they were a little more divided on other, more hot-button issues. 46 percent of Americans are willing to battle crowds for good deals on Black Friday, but more than three-quarters of respondents agree that retailers should be closed on Thanksgiving.
On a more amusing note, NBC’s The Voice judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton beat out the First Family for who Americans would most like to dine with on Thanksgiving, by only a one percent margin. The data for this infographic was compiled by KRC Research and based on the responses of 500 Americans.
