Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s office just released this document outlining some of the basic numbers behind the bipartisan deal to end the shutdown. The document points out that the current deal funds the government at the same level Democrats originally proposed to avoid a shutdown, $986 billion per year. Overall the fact sheet is light on facts and heavy on political attacks against Tea Party Republicans–holding them accountable for the shutdown and calling their actions “reckless” and “irresponsible.”
