Jim Henson’s daughter, Cheryl, is donating more than 20 muppets to the National Museum of American History Tuesday. Some notable characters who will join their friends in the Smithsonian collection include “Sesame Street”‘s Bert and Ernie, the Swedish Chef from “The Muppet Show” and Miss Piggy. The museum currently has Oscar the Grouch and Kermit on display, among others.
