Victims identified in Maryland mall shooting

Howard County Police have named two of the victims in the Columbia, Maryland mall shooting that left three people dead on Saturday. Five others were injured and have yet to be identified.

The police said 21-year-old Brianna Benlolo of College Park, Md., and 25-year-old Tyler Johnson of Ellicott City, Md were killed in the shooting.

Both victims were employees of a skate shop in the mall. The third victim was the suspected shooter, whom police have not yet named.

Around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, a gunman fired shots in a skateboard shop on the upper level of a mall in Columbia, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore.

The Howard County Police Department tweeted that the suspected shooter was dead on arrival and was found near a shotgun.

The five people injured were treated and released from the hospital, according to the Associated Press.

While the mall will remained closed on Saturday, police say the building has been fully evacuated.
