Want a surefire way to pay back your student loans? Study petroleum engineering
NPR has charted out the most and least lucrative college majors in one graph.
Georgetown University economist Anthony Carnevale published a report that shows the degree you pick has way more influence over your future income than the school you go to get that degree.
Breaking down various majors by median earnings, Carnevale finds petroleum engineering and pharmacy sciences/administration both break the $100,000 salary mark.
On the other end of the spectrum, median earnings for counseling psychology barely makes over $20,000.
