What’s on your Thanksgiving menu?

Here at PBS NewsHour, we’re already thinking about Thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pies, there’s a lot to think about. We’re planning a full week of food stories for the week of Thanksgiving, including a story on food and memory, food insecurity and local food.
The term “locavore” was coined by Jessica Prentice in 2005 and refers to someone who eats locally-grown food produced within a 100-mile radius, although the exact distance is flexible. We’re looking for people who are planning a locally-sourced Thanksgiving meal. We’d like to hear your reasons for sticking to food found within a 100-mile radius, your tips for others wishing to do the same, and your favorite recipes.
