Looking at Darwin's Legacy Through a Modern Lens


Charles Darwin; Photo National Gallery of ArtThursday marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, the father of evolutionary theory. Schools and museums around the world are celebrating with readings, lectures and exhibits. Janet Browne, a historian of science at Harvard University and the author of several books on Darwin, discusses previous Darwin anniversaries and what Darwin himself might have thought of his bicentenary celebrations.
