Benjamin C. Bradlee participated in the PBS television adaptation of Character Above All. His expertise was in the presidency of John Kennedy.

Ben Bradlee Mr. Bradlee has written two books on John Kennedy. They are: That Special Grace (1964) and Conversations with Kennedy (1975). As a journalist, he covered the 1960 presidential campaign between Mr.Kennedy and Richard Nixon.

Mr. Bradlee retired as executive editor of The Washington Post in September 1991 after 23 years in that position. Those years included the Post's noted Watergate coverage and the decision to publish the Pentagon Papers.

Mr. Bradlee received a B.A. degree from Harvard University. He is married to journalist and author Sally Quinn.

His memoirs, entitled A Good Life: Newspapering and Other Adventures, was published last year.
