    Lawmakers in Colorado have grappled in recent weeks with how to respond to the mass shootings in Aurora and Newtown, Conn. Friday the state senate begins voting on those bills, as well as additional measures that would prevent people who have committed acts of domestic abuse from possessing guns and would hold manufacturers liable for deaths caused by assault weapons.
