    In our news wrap Wednesday, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.) lost the GOP primary on Tuesday. During his three terms, he repeatedly conflicted with party leaders, a pattern that cost him his seat on the House Agricultural Committee. Also, President Obama commuted 214 prison sentences, mostly for nonviolent drug offenders. In total, he’s pardoned more prisoners than the last nine presidents combined. Continue reading
