    At least 12 people were killed and an unknown number still missing, officials say, after heavy flooding and torrential rains paralyzed parts of Bulgaria today.

    In the worst-hit Black Sea resort town of Varna, floodwaters rose up to 3.2 ft., cars were swept on top of one another, and thick mud blanketed the streets. Continue reading
