John Walker Lindh Pleads Guilty to Charges of Helping Taliban
July 15, 2002 -- Update: Sparing himself life in prison, "American Taliban" John Walker Lindh pleaded guilty to charges of fighting for the Taliban in Afghanistan and carrying explosives. The 21-year-old Californian will now be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
