Report Blames Pilots for Deadly Bombing in Afghanistan
June 28, 2002 -- Update: Investigators announced Friday that two U.S. pilots were solely responsible for the accidental bombing that killed four Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan two months ago.

British-Led Force Launches New Operation
May 2, 2002 -- Update: British Royal Marines led a force of 1,000 allied troops in a new search of southeastern Afghanistan, with plans to destroy caves and bunkers and capture al-Qaida members who may still be in the region.

The area is thought to have been a key base for al-Qaida and Taliban fighters.

U.S. Transfers Detainees to New Facility in Cuba

U.S. Bomber Crashes in Indian Ocean, Crew Rescued
