Head of Save Darfur Coalition Rebuts al-Bashir

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir spoke with Time magazine's Sam Dealey in early August about the International Criminal Court's warrant for his arrest, the fighting in his country and relations with the United States.

NewsHour Foreign Affairs reporter Robert Zeliger spoke Thursday with Jerry Fowler, president of the Save Darfur Coalition, to get his reactions on al-Bashir's statements, including his views on the ICC and his assertion that only 10,000 people have been killed in the fighting in Darfur.
