Wisconsin Delegates Revel in State's Battleground Status
John Kerry Campaigns Through Wisconsin Wisconsin delegates to the Democratic National Convention are basking in the attention of the party and the press as their state stands poised to play a pivotal role in the 2004 presidential election.

With a deeply divided voting population and 10 electoral votes, Wisconsin is a prime battleground state and a top target for the presidential candidates who have lavished time and money on the state, which Al Gore won by less than 6,000 votes in 2004.
