Democrat Brown Unseats Incumbent DeWine in Ohio

Rep. Sherrod Brown, D-OhioIn the closely watched Ohio Senate race, Democratic challenger Rep. Sherrod Brown defeated two-term Republican Sen. Mike DeWine.

Brown had started pulling ahead of DeWine as early as the summer, causing the GOP to redirect its efforts toward other races in the state.
