Gravel Still Riding on YouTube Videos
Email This
Buoyed by the slight increase in media exposure that former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel has received from his recent debate appearances and widely discussed YouTube videos, Gravel has been working hard to raise the public profile of a campaign that runs as much on grassroots support as it does on monetary contributions.
Gravel has made speaking and television appearances in Chicago, Illl, Indianapolis, Ind., Portland, Ore., and San Francisco, Calif. Looking to continue and ride the free media publicity generated by the ads, the senator’s press secretary Alex Colvin hinted that the campaign isn’t quite finished with the creative videos, the first two appropriately titled “Rock” and “Fire.”
According to Colvin, they will likely unveil a new “Air” video later this month, as for what the candidate and his art school collaborators may be up to, YouTubians will simply have to wait and see.
